What data do we process, how and why?
- Website visits: Technical connection data, such as your IP address, access time, requested page, and browser or device information, may be recorded automatically by the infrastructure that delivers this website. This information is processed to operate and secure the website and to diagnose technical problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 5(2)(f) of Law No. 6698, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.
- Business and product enquiries: When you contact us by email or telephone, we may process the name, contact details, company information, and message you choose to provide. We use this information to assess and respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, prepare an offer. Where processing is directly related to establishing or performing a contract, the legal basis is Article 5(2)(c) of Law No. 6698. For other business communications, the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 5(2)(f). This information is collected directly from you.
- Legal requests: Information required to respond to a lawful request from a competent authority may be processed to fulfil our legal obligations under Article 5(2)(ç) of Law No. 6698.
Recipients and retention
Technical connection data and business correspondence may be shared with our website hosting and corporate email service providers only to the extent necessary to provide those services. Information may also be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by law. Personal data is retained only for as long as the relevant processing purpose and any applicable legal retention obligation continue. It is then deleted, destroyed, or anonymised in accordance with applicable law.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The following first-party cookies and browser storage entries are used:
dkd_language: Stores only your explicitly selected website language (en,trorar) for up to 180 days from your latest selection, so the website can remember it across pages and future visits. It applies throughout this website and is sent to our server with same-site requests. If you have not selected a language, English is used and this cookie is not created. You can change your selection at any time using the language selector, or delete the cookie using your browser settings.dkd_cookie_notice: Remembers for up to 180 days that you have closed the informational cookie notice. Closing this notice does not grant consent to advertising or analytics tracking.dkd-preloader-seen: A sessionStorage entry that prevents the loading animation from being repeated during the same tab session. The contact page contains optional Google Maps content. The map is not connected to Google until you actively select Load interactive map. When loaded, your browser connects directly to Google and Google may process technical connection data under its own privacy terms.
If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this notice and the necessary preference mechanism must be updated before those technologies are enabled.
Your rights and how to apply
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly; learn the third parties to whom it has been transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met; request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
You may submit your request in writing to the postal address above or by another method permitted by applicable legislation. You may also write to info@dkd.biz.tr from an email address that you previously provided to us and that is recorded in our systems. Applications are handled as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, depending on the nature of the request.
